Watercolour on paper, 2025.

A bench in a forest clearing, empty. Around it, heather riots in pink and purple, birch trees rise and fade into soft light, and the whole world seems to be holding its breath.

There is nobody here — and yet the scene is so full it barely contains itself. This is a painting about the generosity of an unwitnessed moment: the way nature doesn't wait for an audience, doesn't perform, doesn't pause. It simply is.

The bench is an invitation. Whether you take it is up to you.
